Our Story
Jason Lambert's dream was to create a community and organization that provided the highest quality instruction and resources to his students, so that our community can live with freedom and health. The strategic partnership with the Bio Performance Institute to create BPi Fighting Systems enabled our fighting community members access to premiere services in recovery, physical therapy and health experts.
It is our goal as an organization to meet you where you are at in your journey and provide you the mentorship and resources to flourish as an athlete, enthusiast or profesional fighter.
Meet The Team

Professor Jason Lambert
Founder & CEO of BPi Fight, Jason Lambert is our head instructor. A Third Degree Black Belt under professor Roy Harris in BJJ, Jason also specializes in Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Edged Weapons, & Firearms.
Jason is our head instructor for BJJ Noon & Evening, MMA, BJJ Kids program and Kickboxing. Jason also manages our growing team of MMA fighters and oversees the program.

Instructor Zach Lari
​Zach Lari is a brown belt under Jason Lambert and has two decades experience fighting, referring and coaching Mixed Martial Arts, BJJ and Striking. Zach is an extremely accomplished referee and judge in BJJ and MMA: working for organizations like ADCC, IBJFF and KOTC. Zach brings his years of wrestling, BJJ and striking to his BJJ classes for adults and our kids program. His classes offer an intense pace, fun dynamic and timeless techniques that will bring success in the cage, mats or streets.

Instructor Jon Thurman
Jon is a blue belt under Jason Lambert's tutelage for almost 4 years. Jon is a gifted teacher who became obsessed with BJJ from his first day under Jason's instruction. He is a dedicated kid's program instructor and operations manager at BPi Fight. His classes focus on building the conceptual framework of BJJ with an intensive focus on the fundamentals. He teaches kids classes daily.

Instructor Brad Smidt

Professor Jeff Walther
Jeff Walther is a Black Belt in BJJ under Pedro Sauer and is the head of our Law Enforcement Fighting Systems program. Jeff has over two decades in Law Enforcement and is currently a Captain at CDA PD. His classes focus heavily on life saving technical details coupled with timeless techniques. His teaching style blends cutting edge BJJ techniques with a heavy emphasis on self defense/LEO applications. He leads our morning BJJ classes and runs our LEO exclusive training.

Instructor Cameron Hollis
​Cameron is a blue belt under Jason Lambert's tutelage for over 3 years. Cameron is a combat veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps and is an exceptionally gifted instructor, father and athlete. His aggressive style coupled with exceptional technical focus creates a fast paced, precise environment. Cameron teaches adult morning BJJ classes.

Instructor John Shepherd
John started his journey under Dean Lister where he received his blue belt in BJJ. John is a dedicated father and teacher with a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. He has taught kids programs at other gyms and now is a kid's program coach at BPi. His teaching style is dynamic, fun and technique forward.

Instructor Jon Perez
​Brad began his MMA journey at a Hayden gym at 16 where he quickly fell in love with combat sports and knew this was his future. After training there for the years, he made the decision to join the Army as an infantryman. There he earned the Army Level II combative certification. He continued to train MMA and Boxing throughout the 8 years in the military. After his days in the service, Brad continued to train and found a passion for Muay Thai. He quickly began teaching professionally and achieved the status of PC Kru through the Sports Authority of Thailand. Brad leads our Muay Thai program and has successfully coached our own Sterling Ritch to a World Title at the WBC's Pan Ams.
Jon Perez is a certified PC Kru in Muay Thai under Kru Yai Belton Lubas with the USECA & Sports Authority of Thailand. His journey started with Karate as a kid, Jon's martial arts journey has led him to experiencing many different arts from Karate, FMA, BJJ and ultimately to his love of Muay Thai. PC Jon has taught kickboxing and Muay Thai to all ages with students from 6-64 years old enjoying his easy going and detail orientated teaching style. He creates a fun and structured learning environment for all ages.
